Squeezed into the photobooth for a month of love smooch. Lots of love in this life of mine, fer shure.
Conflicting Imagery
2 FebJust being honest.
I still wasn’t feeling all that awesome today (and by that I mean I felt like the walking dead) but I had to get out of the house so my friend Chris and I popped into Photobooth to get a tintype portrait done (which is obviously not the photo I’ve included here). Nothin like pretending you’re a model (HA!) to trick yourself into feeling better, even if that feeling is fleeting.

Tintype Fever
15 OctI’ve got it.

You know, I did have a photo I took today, but we got these tintypes we took last night emailed to us today and I’m still super impressed so it’s getting the main spot. Headlining, if you will. It was really fun to see everyone that was at the party last night posting theirs on Facebook today! You should definitely check out Photobooth on 23rd and Valencia in San Francisco. No appointments needed to get one of your own! Vincent and Michael will hook you up. Good guys.
While still riding the high of my favorite birthday ever, I, along with the party planner professionals Allison and Kim, made an early trip to Boogaloo’s which is really the only time to avoid an hour and a half wait on a Saturday. Noe Valley had some little street festival thing happening today so Allison and I checked that out (source of the photo below) and did some shopping and got mani/pedis. All in a days work, right? Dinner at Papito with Rena was the perfect way to round out the day. Favorite weekend ever.
Surpriser Becomes the Surprised.
14 OctIt’s official, they got me.

Allison and Kim completely got me. A surprise party with my friends and my mom in Photobooth where everyone got some amazing portraits taken of them and then dinner at Aslam’s Rasoi and ice cream cake from Bi-Rite. I’m used to being the one to surprise my friends and family and didn’t realize what exactly it felt like to be on the other side. I have to say, I felt pretty special after the shock and terror wore off. Best birthday ever. Thank you, friends!
